Aspect:
Oyster mushrooms have a cap of 5 to 15 centimeters, with a circular or half-circular shape. The color of the oyster mushrooms vary from gray-violet, blue-gray to olive black

Taste:
The oyster mushroom is firm and juicy, with a mild, but aromatic taste. Due to its taste which resembles veal, it is also called veal mushroom.

Preparation of oyster mushrooms is very simple and they do not need to be laboriously cleaned. Oyster mushrooms are excellent to be fried, grilled or stewed. Due to their strong taste, however, oyster mushrooms should receive few spices or other ingredients within the dish.

Fresh oyster mushrooms can be preserved for two or three days in a refrigerator or a cool and dark place. Drying.
