The pink oyster mushroom has its origins in the tropics and subtropics, it grows in dense clusters and has its name due to ist intense pink color. The cap’s shape is that of a fan and of a size of 2 to 5 centimeters.

Taste:
The pink oyster mushroom’s taste is similar to bacon or ham. Due to its meat-like taste it is a delicious edible mushroom.

Preparation:
The pink oyster mushroom is easy to fry and to combine with vegetables. Its color changes from pink to orange-brown during frying.

Preservation:
You can preserve pink oyster mushrooms best if stored in a cool place, which makes them last for about 7 days or longer depending on the stage of maturity at which they were harvested. Drying also works.
