King Oyster Mushroom

The king oyster mushroom owes its name mainly to it's occurrence within starch-rich roots of herbs, especially lobelia.

Taste:
This mushroom has a tender flavour and a texture similar to boletus.

Preparation:

The tender body which remains firm while cooking makes the king oyster mushroom able to be used in many dishes, especially in recipes which would use boletus as well.
 
Preservation:
You can preserve king oyster mushrooms best in a cool place, which makes them last for about 14 days. King oyster can also be dried.

Ingredients:
The king oyster mushroom is very digestible and very low in calories while rich in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.
