Chido's Vision

Chido Govera’s vision of a better world is sure to be shared by a huge number of human beings. Chido envisions a world where sustainable innovations and practices can be simplified and shared with all. Chido is committed to learning, simplifying and sharing sustainable skills for a better future. 

Since the age of 7 Chido has been passionate about working with other orphans and the disadvantaged to secure a better future. When she started working with mushrooms she explored and secured how the process can be simplified enough to be shared even with those who have no knowledge of science and those that have never been to school. Today, she is showing them an opportunity how to build up their own sustent by using natural resources and cycles, by which they can satisfy their hunger, fight poverty and protect themselves against abuse and thus even against AIDS.

The simplified technique developed to perfection by Chido Govera, to grow mushrooms on organic waste such as coffee grounds and other agricultural wastes, can be applied in almost any region of the world and ensure more than just food for the poor but a healthy nutrition for all.
